Our father was an adventurer. He loved the outdoors and playing golf. Instead of sending short-lived flowers for his memorial, we thought that he would like it if we created a fund to place a permanent bench at one or more of the many places he enjoyed to go in Santa Barbara. A place for friends and family to visit in honor of him and experience the sites, sounds, and smells that he enjoyed while alive.
